Moving Science Forward

Strategic implementation updates

Memorial Union in fall

A roadmap for the College of Science

The College of Science at Oregon State University is an inclusive, powerful force for good – changing the world for the better, enhancing the university as a whole, and preparing tomorrow’s science leaders. We are committed to extending the reach and impact of science in Oregon and beyond, and embedding inclusive excellence within all aspects of the College.

Our specific goals to achieve this are outlined in our diversity action plan, Embedding Equity, Access and Inclusion, and our strategic plan, Extending the Reach and Impact of Science. The plans, each the result of year-long community engagement, were created with the input of faculty, students, alumni and other strategic partners of the College of Science.

Implementation of these plans requires our deliberate, collaborative action. As we move science forward, please visit this page to review College of Science progress across all our strategic goals.

Strategic Plan 2022-2027

A college-wide strategic planning implementation committee, with representation from all seven departments and the dean’s office, leads the implementation of the strategic plan and develops a timeline for implementing, assessing and adapting the actions and tactics in each of the four goals.
