OSU Commencement on Saturday, June 15, 2024

At this University-wide event, our Ph.D., masters, and undergraduates will all receive their diplomas and celebrate with the OSU community on the Corvallis campus.

College of Science Graduation Reception on Friday, June 14, 2024

All College of Science graduates are invited to attend our graduation reception outside of Kidder Hall on Friday, June 14 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Students will receive a gift, there will be appetizers and cupcakes, as well as faculty and staff to connect with families and friends.

Department Celebrations

Join your friends and classmates for these department specific graduation ceremonies on Friday, June 14, 2024.


Biochemistry & Biophysics, 5–7 p.m.

Students majoring in biochemistry and biophysics, or biochemistry and molecular biology are invited to attend their department’s ceremony from 5 to 7 p.m. in LPSC. There will be a short program and then students will have their names read and receive a certificate. To accommodate all families and guests in the LPSC 125 auditorium, we will hold the short program twice (identical program) in LPSC 125 and we will host a reception in the lobby. RSVP here.


Chemistry, 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.

Students majoring in chemistry are invited to attend their department’s ceremony in conjunction with the mathematics and physics graduates from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside of Kidder Hall. There will be a short program and then students will have their names read and receive a certificate. RSVP here.


Integrative Biology, 6:45–8 p.m.

Students majoring in biology or zoology are invited to attend the Integrative Biology ceremony from 6:45 to 8 p.m. Meet at Milam Auditorium (doors open at 6:45 p.m.). There will be a short program beginning at 7 p.m. Students will have their names read as they receive a gift. This will be followed by refreshments and time for mingling in the Cordley Hall Courtyard. RSVP here.


Mathematics, 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.

Students majoring in mathematics are invited to attend a ceremony in conjunction with chemistry and physics graduates from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside of Kidder Hall. There will be a short program and then students will have their names read and receive a certificate. RSVP here.


Microbiology, 10–11 a.m.

Students majoring in BioHealth Sciences or Microbiology are invited to attend their department’s ceremony from 10 to 11 a.m. outside of Kidder Hall. There will be a short program and then students will have their names read and receive a certificate. RSVP here.


Physics, 11:30 a.m.– 12:30 p.m.

Students majoring in physics are invited to attend a ceremony in conjunction with mathematics and chemistry graduates from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside of Kidder Hall. There will be a short program and then students will have their names read and receive a certificate. RSVP here.
