I retired as professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University in the summer of 2022 and accepted a position as instructor at Oregon State University.

Currently, my hobbies are reading and running. I'm also interested in native plants and look forward to learning more about the plant life in Oregon.

Books that I've recently read and enjoyed include The Tin Drum, Crime and Punishment, Persuasion, and Dune.

My most recent race was God's Country Marathon in northern Pennsylvania in the summer of 2021. (I'm slow but persistent.)

Education
