Being a student in STEM fields means that you will gain a great set of skills that will make you competitive for hundreds, even thousands, of jobs! This can be such great news, but also a little bit overwhelming. If there are thousands to choose from, how do you know which one is "right" for you? How do you even know what types are available. or what a certain type of job even does? This workshop will teach you ways to investigate what careers exist, what these careers look like on the day to day, and how to think about what you want out of a career. You'll walk away with knowledge of how to use two career exploration tools, and ways to think about your own values and needs related to work.
