Fundraising efforts exceed $4 million

College of Science exceeds millions in investments

Thanks to the generous support of our alumni and friends, our College exceeded $4 million in philanthropic investments this fiscal year.

The College is thrilled with our recent support, including the Paul A. and Mary Ann Roberts Fellowship, the John and Gretchen Morris Cell Biology Scholarship Fund, alumna Karen Nickel’s scholarship in biochemistry and biophysics, and alumna Joan Suit’s support for microbiology students and research.

Alumnus Bill Lovejoy has generously endowed the Robert M. Storm Distinguished Lecture in Integrative Biology. The ARCS Foundation in Portland granted four new fellowships to recruit top graduate students to our College. The Wei Family Private Foundation continues to be a generous supporter and enhances our global diversity.

Welcome to new College of Science Advisory Board members Keith Krueger and Brad Zenger!
