Working to improve access and inclusion in the College of Science

The Equity, Access and Inclusion (EAI) Leadership Council includes the EAI Director, a graduate student and undergraduate student, a faculty representative from each of the college units, and the chairs of the Equity Data Collection and the Gender Equity Committees. The EAI Program Director chairs this council and ensures its work is well coordinated with other working groups.

Committee charge

The EAI Leadership Council provides a link between the college and each college unit and is charged with playing a major role in collaborating with each member’s respective unit on implementation of every aspect of the COS-DAP and how actions taken map to the COS-DAP.

The EAI Council is further charged with: determining appropriate metrics, keeping the COS community aware of initiatives and activities, tracking and measuring progress, promoting the broad engagement of faculty, staff and students in the college, as well as providing a formal annual progress report to the COS leadership and to the COS community.
