Outside of class and work, I love to hangout with friends and do things outdoors! I am from Coos Bay, which is right on the coast, so I love visiting the beach. My favorite thing about being a peer advisor is helping students find resources on campus they may not have known about!

Outside of classes, I really enjoy reading, listening to music, thrifting, going to concerts, and exploring new places around town. I love being a peer advisor because it is very rewarding getting to meet new students of all different backgrounds and welcome them to the College of Science as well as getting to offer them support as needed throughout their college experience. After college, I hope to peruse a career in environmental research and study the fate of toxic chemicals in our environment, how they affect human health, and how we can counteract them.

My goal is to teach high school math after graduating from OSU. I love being a peer advisor because it allows me to work with students and help to create a more welcoming environment within areas like math and science!

Something you should know about me is that I love band! I’m involved in Oregon State’s marching band, basketball band, and more (I play the trumpet). Besides that, I enjoy watching movies, cooking, playing games, and spending time with friends. I enjoy being a peer advisor because I find that helping students is very fulfilling! I also love making connections, and I've been able to learn about all the amazing resources and opportunities that OSU has to offer.

I am from The Dalles, Oregon. I love being a peer mentor because I get to meet new people! Plus I learn a lot of random information on the job! Outside of class you can catch me reading a book, running, or just outside. I also enjoy going out a lot and socializing. After college I want to teach English abroad for a year and then go to grad school for child psychology.

(They/them)
Heyo! My name is Anya, and I'm a third-year psych student from Eugene, Oregon. When I'm not in class, I like to spend my time drawing, crafting and playing Webkinz (you're never too old to search for that legendary crown of wonder). I plan to be the first person in my family to graduate from a 4-year university, and that position comes with a lot of questions, but not a lot of answers. Because of this, I have always relied on the academic resources provided by the institutions I belonged to. By being a peer advisor, I hope to give back to the community that has served me. It's nice to meet you!!

Hello! My name is Claire and I use she/her pronouns. I grew up in California and Colorado and love to go bouldering in my free time. My favorite part about being a peer advisor is getting the opportunity to connect with so many students and faculty across the College of Science. After graduation I hope to work in education or academia and potentially attend grad school.

Hi, my name's Bruno Salas and I'm majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Chemistry. In my free time, I like to bike around town and listen to music, watch YouTube or draw. I'm not too sure on my career interests as of late but either way I look forward to the coming year.

(He/him)
I lived in Colorado for my whole life until I decided to come to Oregon State. I like to go on hikes, take my dog on walks, and play video games. My favorite part about being a peer advisor is getting to work on problems with other students that I've already experienced. After I finish my degree in math I am hoping to get a masters in creative writing!

Outside of class I am a part of a research lab on campus studying the connection between the brain and the reproductive system. I also enjoy crocheting and making pottery down at the OSU craft center! My goal is to combine my passion for science and problem-solving to a career in biotech. As a peer advisor I hope to help students reach their potential and succeed at Oregon State.
